On Sundays during the Fall/Winter, I dedicate my Sundays to non-music snobbery activities. To my surprise, I hear "Words" from Doves during NFL Network commercials. I'm thinking, "That's cool. It's just the music." Then I see it again ... and again ... again. I started counting -- six times during the day. Not the first time the Manchester lads license their music for an ad -- "Firesuite" was used in Red Cross ads.
It doesn't beat that John Mellencamp "This is our country" song for Chevy. I know it's Up With America, but it makes me want to move to Canada. The most annoying song in years. It's played about four times an hour.

Speaking of the Mellencamp ad, here are two responses to it...

The one with the extreme close ups? I'd love to know too. Sounds like that song kicks ass
