When Prince was on the cover of Guitar World several years ago, people said Dolly Parton had just as much reason to be on the cover, if that's the direction they were going in. Prince hands musical illiterates their ass every time he picks up an instrument, but yeah, this is pretty sad.

Got it yesterday and was disappointed also. Trucks is a great player and worthy of a spot on the cover. The guy is amazing but Frusciante is one of the most unoriginal players ever and the reason the Chili Peppers keep releasing the same album. Every time I hear him, I wish they had kept Dave Navarro.
Of course, the grestest guitarist alive, John Petrucci of Dream Theater is not on the cover.
