Without much fanfire, Travis has quietly booked Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4 at New York's Irving Plaza. For the mere price of $35 plus $16,000 in service fees, you can see Fran Healy and company play selections from their new album, The Boy With No Name. When I first heard the album name, I sang to myself, "I've been through the desert on a boy with no name. It feels good to be out on the range."

Is Travis still playing at Irving Plaza? They are no longer on the Irving website...also don't see it on Travis site.

I noticed this as well, but I already have tickets. Do you think the shows are cancelled?

I bought tickets too. I called Irving Plaza and they verified the shows are still happening. There is something weird going on with Ticketmaster. Shocking, I know.

If the shows are still happening why did they take it off the Irving Plaza website!?! How tricky. They better still be playing because I'm SO excited!

I'm thinking some intern who updated the Irving Plaza website accidently took it off by mistake.

Perhaps. But there is still nothing about them playing in NYC on the Travis website. And one would think that Irving Plaza/Ticketmaster would have fixed the problem by now...?
