France's favorite amateur karaoke singer, Julien, survived the cut on Nouvelle Star this week. He performed "Strangers in the Night" by Sinatra. What cracks me up are the insert shots of the judges, who look like they would like to be anyplace on Earth but judging a talent show -- "I could be sipping wine on the Seine, but I'm here with this guy."
I like his lyrics:
Stangers than the knife
Exchanges glasses
For added comedy, the remaining contestants do a group musical number. It turns from awkward to more awkward. It starts off with the guys (Julien and Pierre) trying to hit on the two girls -- it's borderline sexual assault. When all else fails, the two guys decided to hook up with each other. Destiny indeed.

Julian's hair is hilarious. His hair should win and go on tour.

I think that this guy is amazing. He's completly weird and just assume it !
All right I admitt it , I'm french... But here we just love him (no jokes please!). He's got a great talent to sing the worst french rubbish song (even worse than Britney's "Hit me baby..." that he did last week) and it just sounds amazing...
While the other contestants try to do their best, he sings "Moi lolita" and it rocks, which would be in U.K or U.S like singing a new wonderful version of Ace of base. You think that it just can't happens, but Julien does it !

i love julien (and not juliAn) , my favorites it's lolita, in spite of the lightness (it's the words?) of this song, his voice transmits an emotion , an sad emotion . I loce him but i'm worry = i don't want that he become " polished " by the music system , the business
(that i hate it) ...
sorry for my bad english!
Bonne continuation!
