I'm fascinated by this news story.
Stealing an inflatable pool, I can understand, but THE WATER and not spill any of it? Somebody call the MythBusters. Here are some things you need to think about:
- This happened between 1am and 5am, meaning they had to be quiet and not wake the people in the house.
- They didn't steal anything else.
- There could be 10,000 gallons of water in that pool. You wouldn't be able to move it by hand. Again, they didn't spill any water. You would need a forklift and a flatbed truck of some sorts.
- Considering that it's a suburban area, someone would notice if a pool appeared out of blue. It couldn't have gotten far.
- The gentleness that had to be required must have been amazing. It's inflatable, meaning you had to move the thing without breaking it.
I issue a challenge to the thieves. For a $100, put the pool back with all the water in it without anyone noticing.
