One of my favorite local acts have sung their last soul tune.

In September 2003, the Dansettes first gathered in the East Village to play three cover songs for what was supposed to be their only show. More than sixty gigs and four years later, we’ve made the difficult decision to pack it in.
Thanks to you, we’ve had a blast and enjoyed amazing support from hundreds of great folks. The whole experience has been one pleasant surprise after another.
Once Jamie left the three-piece earlier this year, it didn't seem like the same. I suppose a search for a third member proved fruitless.
