SXSW 2008 Weird Band Name List, Wednesday

Roadhs1Again, I'm not going. Thus, I'll be missing these fine bands and their unusual monikers.

-- Shwayze: I wonder how many times they've seen Road House.

-- 43 Songs About 43 Presidencies: I heard their song about Zachary Tyler is like the "Stairway To Heaven" for eccentric singer-songwriters.

-- This Bike is a Pipe Bomb: And it's about to go off, MoFos.

-- Ringo Deathstarr: I'm trying to think of another Beatles/Star Wars name meld ...  Jabba McCartney?

-- El Jesus De Magico: The Magic of Jesus. Finally, my high school Spanish paid off.

-- The Yuppie Pricks: They should have no problem finding their kind at SXSW.
