Leftover Notes from the 3rd Anniv. Show: Links, Videos, Photos, Playlist and Posters
This will be the final post about the show with Moby, Salt & Samovar and La Laque, then I'm going to go back to what I do best. I have no idea what that is, but you get the point. I'll make a typelist to the right so I can house these posts forever and ever.
The big news from the show is that me, Moby, David from S&S, Devery from La Laque and the rest of The Little Death are forming a band called the Barely Functioning Alcoholics. We'll be doing all 80s covers and expect to be paid in beer.
In the meantime, Moby gave us all a nice shoutout on his journal and tells a nice rabbit story.
Posters
Maybe I should have mentioned it more frequently, but the posters on the merch table were free. I have about 150 or so left and they cause a fire hazard in my kitchen. If you went to the show and you didn't get one, drop me a line and we'll arrange for you to pick up. If you come from outside the NYC area and would like one, I'll be glad to send you some for a small fee via PayPal, enough to cover shipping materials and shipping.
Playlist
One thing you might not have realized that I picked the music for the night between sets. That's a big deal since Moby is a master DJ. It's like asking Mario Andretti, "Hey, mind if I drive this lap while you sit in the passenger's side."

Videos
Through the power of both the internet and interwebs, you can relive the show or see what you missed. I created a playlist with all the videos and will add more once they are made available.
In the playlist, you can see Moby kicking ass on drums for "Disco Lies", some stage banter, "Walk on the Wild Side", "Honey", "I'm on Fire", "Natural Blues", "Rebel Yell", "Porcelain" and Salt & Samovar and the Ramblin' Man Singers. Big thanks to Abbey from Sup Magazine/Punk Photo for taking the video.
Photos
Here's a Flickr set by Captain Lucky Pants ... okay then. Thanks for the great shots. Also, NY Dave got in on the action. Thank you as well. As always, Abbey took some pro shots as well.
Now for who's doing what ...
Moby
While this was his only planned U.S show, he'll be heading out overseas for some festivals in support on his new album, Last Night. Here are some dates:

Also, Mobes loves Threadless. The T-shirt company is holding a design contest where you can make your own Last Night-themed t-shirt. Mine would have hot dog and relish stains on it .

She has a residency this month at Banjo Jim's the next five Mondays (April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12). As she explains, "'Casting Lines' is a project I’ve been thinking about for a while, and gradually working on. It began as a long-term recording project, with my asking singers whose voices I love to record a tune of mine for an album called 'Casting Lines'. Now, in the short-term, this project is going to exist as a weekly live music experience/experiment at Banjo Jim’s starting on April 14. I will be inviting different singers each week, to sing a tune of mine with me and my band."

The Sweet Divines
All four of them with their backing boys have a soul review coming up this Friday, once again at Union Hall. They'll also be performing at the BBQ Festival in Madison Square Park in NYC on June 7.
Ben, Win and Kate
I don't know what they did last Thursday, but I doubt it was as much fun as we had.
Me
I'm still in decompressing mode, trying to catch-up on e-mails and loose ends. I won't be performing anywhere, but I was on VanityFair.com, NY Times and Blender. Not bad, aye? I was hoping for more coverage that night, but it seems most of them were at Gnarls Barkley.
Also, me and my designer will come up with a new banner logo. Something fresher ... always open to suggestions.
Will this show bring me to bigger and better things? Dunno, we'll see.

If I wasn't called last minute minute to the Gnarls Barkley show I would have been there. Sorry
