Hollywood, can we have John Cusack back? I thought Must Like Dogs was bad, but, whoa mama, soon he's going to take the roles Cuba Gooding Jr. turns down.

In other High Fidelity news, its director Stephen Frears might work again with Fidelity screenwriter and Cusack's childhood friend D.V. DeVincentis. They could work on an adaption of Beth Raymer's book, Lay the Favorite, Take the Dog. It deals with math geniuses who turn to professional gambling and woman who falls into their circle. Didn't we see that one already? It was called 21.
