Wakey! Wakey! Releases Album This Week and Goes Primetime

My boy Michael Grubbs is ready for his closeup. The leader of local band Wakey! Wakey! has been toiling away on his latest opus, Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said the Last Time I Saw You. The album gets released this Tuesday, and it features Grubbs homegrown peppy electric pop sound and heartfelt piano-based ballads.

A new album is not all that M.G. is up to these days. He's been doing some acting over in L.A. He plays a bartender of The CW teen drama, One Tree Hill. I have no idea what that show is about, but I'm sure it features good looking late 20s year-old actors playing teenagers.
