The first thing I thought of when Lord Jobs announced the devise that looks like it will break if you drop it was "what catchy song will be used in the commercial." I was thinking something folky, soothing and twee. As it turns it out, they went with Jet-like pop-rock in the form of Sweden's The Blue Van. The band's "There Goes My Love" ad debut during the Oscars. Thus, the meaning of the song "There Goes My Love" could symbolize the love of having contact with the outside word, holding a physical book or your bank account that has to pay the $500+ and the $1,000 a year for wireless plan.
The Blue Van is no strangers with the commercial world. Their song, "Silly Boy," was used in a Samsung ad. Them and Jet can trade pointers in how to produce commercial jingles.

The Blue Van is no a Swedish band, all the band members are from the small town of Brønderslev in Denmark, where they have all played togheter since 6th grade.
And no, Denmark is not the cpaital of Sweden, but Sweden's neighbour country to the west.
Everyone knows the capital of Sweden is Ikea - come on ;-)
The Blue Van already featured in a touch phnoe commercial for Samsung Behold in November 2008 with the song 'Silly Boy':
