We'll call this one the Against Silversun Pickup Me! Tour.
California and Florida come together for a double dose of mainstream indie rock goodness as Silversun Pickups and Against Me! co-head a June tour.
I haven't seen Silversun Pickups since they became breakout superstars. Since I saw them in 2006 at Bowery, they've been nominated for Grammy for Best New Artist That's Not Really a New Artist and opened up for Muse on their arena tour. They are still pulling out all the stops for their second album, Swoon, on Dangerbird Records.
Meanwhile, I have partaken in the Against Me! punk rock rawness. On June 6th, they're release their highest-profile album to date, White Crosses, which was guided by superstar producer-Garbage man Butch Vig.
The dates will have the two bands (joined by Henry Clay People) playing Brooklyn, Philly and two blocks from MS.com headquarters.
