E3 was held this week, it's the ComicCon for video gamers. I'll geek jokes will be withheld from this post.
It's where all PlayStation, Xbox and Wii trot out their big games that will be released for the holidays. If you remember, it's where Beatles Rock Band made its debut. This year, Soundgarden, Eminem, Deadmau5 and Usher entertained the gamers in L.A.
While I'm not a gamer in any stretch of the imagination (being a snob takes up a lot of free time), I do appreciate a good game here and there. So I'm looking forward to the third chapter in the Assassin's Creed franchise. It's a open world, Grand Theft Auto-type game set in Renaissance Italy.
The trailer for the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood uses the latest track from These New Puritans, "We Want War." It's cinematic, intense and a grabber. Their latest album, Hidden, received glowing reviews, and I'm hoping they make a return to the states to see if they can recreate some of those new tunes. Check the trailer for the game, then the 8 minute video.
