Just think about the possibility. As you know, Daft Punk wrote the score for the new TRON revamp that doesn't come until Dec. 19. A new trailer debuted at Comic-Con (motto: Making You Leave Your Parents Basement Since 1970), complete with new musical cues.
So come February when the Oscar nominations are announced, they could be nominated for Best Original Score. The whole nerd and hipster communities would explode in an orgasm of delight. Here are some questions if they do get nominated:
- Would they walk the red carpet in their helmets?
- Would they wear the helmets in the audience?
- Would they perform during the telecast?
- How will they accept the award if they won?
- Will they walk onstage in the helmets?
