Your unsubstantiated rumor of the week, British pop star Duffy is finding out that selling out isn't as rewarding as it should be. Despite it's commercial, radio-friendly nature, and production by Strokes Man Albert Hammond Jr., her second album. Endlessly, failed to find an audience. I rather like Rockferry for its throwback to Dusty Springfield sounds. This new one was a big fat, dud and a blatant attempt to mass produce her voice and image for a wider audience.
According to the UK Daily Mirror, one of those un-named sources that tend to pop up in gossip mags says that the singer is quitting music. The reasons include the lack of success with Endlessly and her desire to make babies with her rugby boyfriend Mike Phillips. No official word on her website or twitter, but feel free to lament the loss of the Duffster .... okay moving on.
I will remmeber her for constantly shouting "Hello, New York City" during All-Points West, which was held in Jersey City.

Sorry to be contrary but seriously doubt if
Duffy is going to quit her career.
Her sophomore release is actually quite good.
