Jessica Pare's Zou Bisou Bisou from Mad Men Now Available on 7" Vinyl
Sticking it to Record Store Day, the forward thinking AMC Network have released a 7" Red or Black Vinyl of the song that I can't get out of my head. As it turns out, actress and mega-hottie Jessica Pare, who plays Don Draper's new wife Megan, did the vocals on her performance of "Zou Bisou, Bisou" or "Zoobie Zoobie Zoooooooo" on the season five premier of Mad Men. It was one of the funniest, sexiest and cutest thing I've seen all year, and that's counting that ebay commercial with the girl buying jeans while her mom tries to pass off her mom jeans.
Plenty has ben written about the song. The Daily Beast talked to Gillian Hills about the popular recording. Sophie Loren originally sang it for the movie, The Millionairess. George Martin produced the single. Now, it's taken on a life of its own ... in my brain, I CAN'T GET IT OUT. DAMN YOU MATTHEW WEINER. AHHHHHHHH
