Come on. Couldn't XPN get any names to play their annual summer festival? Talk about getting the heavy hitters, XPN's 2012 XPoNential Festival will once again take place in Camden's Wiggins Parks on July 20-22. The Saturday will feature all three of the big names in the headline, Wilco, Avett Brothers and Dr. Dog on the Saturday. All your favorite adult-contemporary roots rock band in one place. If Mumford & Sons were playing, they would have to put the area on lockdown.
Just note that these three bands will play at Susquehanna Bank Center next door. From the the website: Note: Lawn Seat Admission to the Susquehanna Bank Center (SBC) on 7/21 will be included with each 3-Day Festival Pass that go on sale 5/1. Reserved tickets for covered seats at the SBC show must be purchased separately and do NOT include admission to the XPoNential Music Festival.
The rest of the line-up will be annouced in the upcoming months. Tickets on sale this Saturday.
