Much buzzed about Minnesota out fit Poliça (poe-lesha-ah) is bring back the trip-hop back from your mid-90s CD collection. They are doing so on with their debut Give you the Ghost and a string of live dates. Almost as impressive as their set of tunes and production, it's the shout outs from Jay-Z and Prince. It's like being touched by the hands of God.
The voice of this project is singer Channy Leanagh, with a little help from Bon Iver's Mike Noyce. The brains behind the outfit is Gaynes' man Ryan Olsen. Together they soundtracking your daydreams, maybe your wishful hopes, as well.
