You would think that the man, the myth, the legend would have one already. High Fidelity star and co-screenwriter John Cusack received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. Barry Jive and the Uptown Five lead singer Jack Black was there for the honor, as well as sister Joan, Dan Ackroyd (from Grosse Pointe Blank) and Billy Bob Thorton.
Also this week, Cusack was on Kimmel to confirm the story about him and iTunes. Steve Jobs invited Cusack to see the early version of iTunes to convince the actor to appear in the ads. While Cusack was impressed, he declined to star in the ads. This makes sense, since iTunes helped bring down the record store experience. Rob Gordon would not have approved.
