London duo Alex Morris and Matthew Poile are complying an impressive collection of debut singles. The newish band calling themselves Crushed Beaks are a hard-driving noise rock outfit who released the first singles last year on the Too Pure label. Close-ups/Sun Dogs proved them to be scrappy with a lot of gusto riding through their tracks. Now, they have their next single lined up, Grim, two minutes of furious guitars with poppy vocals. It will remind you of early Futureheads.
