Time to catch up on one of my favorite persons and her peoples. Clare and the Reasons is back, and better than ever. When they weren't touring the world and making hearts soar, they hunkered down in Berlin to work on their third album. The result is called KR-51, an album that will win you over because you need this in your life. They are the finest orchestral pop band in the land, which every song be a treasure of cinematic emotion and imagery. The new album will be out of Frog Stand Records on July 10th.
This is the tracklisting:
1. The Lake
2. Make Them Laugh
3. Bass Face
4. This Too Shall Pass
5. The Mauerpark
6. PS
7. Step In The Gold
8. Colder
9. Last Picture Show
10. Westward
11. Magpie
Of course, Clare is offering a few sneaky peeks at the new music. Here's a few download of the first track, The Lake:
Then, we have visual representation. It's a beautiful looking, black and white video for the track, Make Them Laugh. It was inspired by a NY Times article about a son wanting to follow in his father's footsteps and become a circus clown. Those are big shoes to fill, literally.
