Still plowing these Governors Ball pictures.

I love it when bands still feel compelled to wear their stage outfits in 80+ degree weather. Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter broke out the black duds, fishnet stockings and high heel boots for their electric set. Freelance Whales had the same idea -- "88 degrees. Let's wear tweed!" I had seen Phantogram at Maxwell's and loved the energy, the sexiness and style the bring to their live show. Surprisingly by me, it translated well to the outdoors and large stage. It's a testament to their strong beats and dreamy dance melodies.
