Lordy, it was a massive thrill to be within a few feet of Jeff Tweedy and Nels Kline. I am the envy of chubby middle-aged white guys everywhere. I wanted reach out and grab his foot and scream, "Wholly crap. You're Jeff Tweedy. Ahhhhhhhh". Then watch as security gives me a beat down. I joke, but the rush I got from being in thick on the action was good way to end XPoNential for me. I can knock Wilco off bands I've always wanted to shoot.

I couldn't stay for their whole set, but I hadn't seen them in such a big venue. They went big time with the ellaborate stage show and lighting. Surprising enough, I dug the big and brash version of Wilco. I'm also diggin' Tweedy's bowler hat. It takes a powerful, secure man to wear a bowler in front of 10,000 people
