Get ready for soaring melodies, heartbreaking lyrics and maybe a little whimsy from my buddy. She came though in March with Bombay Bicycle Club and she was great to watch -- easy to like.

The album gets the major-label trealment from Columbia in the UK on Sept. 24. A U.S. release is pending.
She has her first music video from the album, that was shot in Los Angeles. It's a comedic, cheeky promo for the song "Bikes":
Some great tracks here Carl, Many of which were in my ciellctoon in the day: the Bowie, Talking Heads and Iggy tracks are spot on and remain some of my favourites. For me the Punk representation in 1977 would be Johnny Thunder's Heartbreakers LAMF which I still listen to today (remixed version). I applaud your inclusion of Marc Bolan but, truth be told, by 1977 he was all but washed up and a mere shadow of his 1973 magnificence. The Alan Parsons Project sits out of place here (for me). My choice in the different genre department would have been something from Gil Scott Heron's Bridges or perhaps some reggae from Creation Rebel. Anyway, great mixtape- many thanks!
