Joie

Awesome commercial. Any idea if that version of the song is available to download/buy anywhere? I've only seen the live version of Hit or Miss (iTunes and Amazon)not the version in the commercial.

meleah rebeccah

Seriously, where is this version of that song available? It's NO where on iTunes or Amazon. Help!

ASD

Can't find it anywhere! HELP.

RaPport

"Hit or Miss" by Odetta (one of two songs she wrote) can be found as cut 6 on the following "Variety" release:

Mojo Club Presents Dancefloor Jazz, Vol.4 - Light My Fire

Info found here:
isohunt.com

Where to buy this? Haven't found it yet.

Any one have any luck yet finding this on an iTune format?

RaPport

Well, you could buy the above CD for $8.99 + free shipping (you have to request an email coupon right on the CD's webpage for an EXTRA 10$ off AND FREE SHIPPING) AND then rip it to compatible digital format:

moviemars.com

-or-
download it via torrent on the site referenced in above post and then convert it to a compatible format (MANY tools available for that).

good luck

From what I am reading, this movie is hedniag downhill fast. I am not a casting director by all means, but the fact that Javier is even being considered for the role of Roland is heartbreaking. The only actor that comes to mind when reading the books, is Clint, yet sadly, he is too old to play the part. I don't even think Viggo is right. At this point, it should be an unknown. I say this, because I read another comment elsewhere stating that it should be an unknown rather than a known actor as homage should be played to the story not the actor. Been thinking about who should play Detta/Odetta, and I think Taraji Henson could pull it off. She has the potential. Definitely not a caucasian.
