Band photo or Esquire fashion spread? You expect to see a side bar that states: Suit on left: Ralph Lauren Purple, $3,499. Shirt, Etro $249
Spector never made it to the U.S., and no word of another try, but they are forging ahead with their debut album, Enjoy It While It Lasts. It's twelve song of mega-Brit pop made for fashionable people and lovers of jittery party music. It takes me back to the early days of The Killers mixed with a little Futureheads, but with a sense of grandeur. The Brits like their pop music big and brash.
