This one goes out to Scotland, yo. Django Django breezed through here in March to get the buzz going on their warped-out avant pop sound. Now, they'll get a second push when their self-titled debut album gets a proper U.S. release via Ribbon Music. The digital release is next Tuesday, the 14th, while a physical date is September 25th. You can listen to that bad boy now over at NPR.
In anticipation for this, the band, lead by Dave Maclean, brother of John Maclean of the Beta Band, will embark on their first somewhat extensive U.S. tour. It includes a return to NYC at Bowery Ballroom.
