Two Door Cinema Club Touring U.S.; Releasing Second Album, Beacon

Major happens in the world of Two Door Cinema Club. In case you watched the London Olympics opening Ceremony, TDCC lead singer Alex Trimble was the ginger singing "Caliban’s Dream", a song written by Underworld specific for the event. He told Digital Spy: "The feedback has been overwhelming. There are a lot of people who have discovered me and through that the band who would have never discovered us before."

It's all downhill from here, my friend. Unless, the band's sophomore album, Beacon, takes off like gangbusters. Glassnote Records released the album in the U.S. on September, while Kitsune takes care of the UK on Sept. 3. The band called upon superstar producer Jacknife Lee (U2, REM, Kasabian) for the new music.

Their fall U.S./Canada tour will kick off at Central Park on Sept. 28. Brooklyn annoying buzz band of the year Friends will tag along.
