You've heard a lot about that fantubulous Fleetwood Mac tribute album. What is probably not on your radar is an upcoming tribute album for the provential 80s band, Talk Talk. Can we have a little sing-a-long now?
IT'S MY LIFE ... DON'T YOU FORGET ... IT'S MY LIFE ... IT NEVER ENDS
This tribute album is pretty impressive, so much so that it's spread out over two CDs. I can't name you two albums worth of Talk Talk songs, but I guess they are a major influence of today's musicians.
The one act that jumped out at me is Zero 7. It's their first released recording in three years. Then you got rock powerhouse White Lies, Sarah Worden of My Brightest Diamond, Fyfe Dangerfield of Guillemots, Richard Reed Barry of Arcade Fire, Jason Lytle of Granddaddy, Do Make Say Think, Joan As Police Woman and local gal Lia Ices.
As for their best known hit, Brit Band The TenFive Sixty put a cosmic, trance spin on "It's My Life". They are on the Fierce Panda label, who are releasing this compilation, that comes with oodles of extras. The deluxe edition comes with a book celebrating the 30 years of Talk Talk. All this fun stuff will be out on September 3.

Was Kate ever able to actually go en pontie in her ballet shoes? Just asking also my best friend since high school (in the 80s) has lost all excitement for Kate because of her last 2 albums- what can I do? She's changed into a Tori-obsessed maniac. To me Kate will always be my guiding light and she has changed my life- ever since I heard Wuthering Heights from the Whole Story back in 1987. I can't imagine life without her. Kate, thank you.

I found this animation piece to be too ltareil, and therefore too clumsy. I would have worked more abstractly myself, told the story through inference (or not at all it's such a strange idea in the first place; not a bad idea, just one that's better left to the imagination), perhaps using the shadow puppets she seems to be using for Lake Tahoe. It just doesn't come off, in my opinion, and when the snow lover starts to melt it's really grotesque, and the distorted reality of that intrudes upon what should be a more subtle process, an almost metaphorical thing: the perfect lover who inevitably slips away, leaving nothing but a chill in the air. At least that's what I think.

Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such magnificent information being shared freely out there. CheapJerseys.com http://www.footballcheapjerseys.com/
