Here's a four-some that's already had some big names giving them props and help. Palma Violets are about to release their debut single Best of Friends via Rough Trade next month. It's a Clash-y/British-ized version of the Black Lips with the grainy vocals and garage rock, party atmosphere. It's a splashy debut from the London band, who've toured with Alabama Shakes in the UK. The B-side, Last of the Summer Wine, is aided by production from Pulp's Steve Mackey. Then, at a recent opening slot for Savages, Nick Cave and Bernard Butler were spotted checking out their set. That's fine credentials right there.

How is it that just anyone can create a weblog and get as popular as this? Its not like youve said anything incredibly impressive –more like youve painted a pretty picture more than an issue that you know nothing about! I dont want to sound mean, here. But do you genuinely think that you can get away with adding some fairly pictures and not seriously say something?
