Yes, Better Call Saul is a must visit. If you don't know what this is then you are the most uncool person ... like ever.
The Soft Pack released their second album, Strapped, last month on the Mexican Summer label. The San Diego band bring out the keyboards and saxophone for this album on the single Bobby Brown while keeping that West Coast garage rock mentality. What they excel at are those hard driving songs that are instantly likeable. Saratoga is such a song on the album.
They are on my must-see list for live bands. They are one of the tighter, more consistent live bands you'll see. I was bummed when they had to cancel their Hudson River Rock show last summer due bad weather. God doesn't want you to see the Soft Pack. Thus, you should see them this month on their quick U.S. tour that kicks off tonight in Chapel Hill.
