Melody's Echo Chamber Making NYC Tonight Opening for Raveonettes

The thrills of vintage shopping. I like the guy in the back learing at her like he's going to make his creppy move.

Anyway, Frenchie Melody Prochet (aka Melody's Echo Chamber) is one of the bright new imports of the year. She released her dream pop self-titled debut album on Fat Possum in September. Produced by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, the album is drenching in starry-eyed vocals, fuzzed out guitars and beautiful soundscapes.

Thus, it only makes sense that the similar-sounding Raveonettes are taking her along on their fall tour. She played Philadelphia last night and tonight's she's at Webster Hall. I'm sure when she comes back for her own headlining shows, it will be a hot ticket.
