British duo Iko is about to get their big American push with an introductory EP, plus some well-placed appearances on some movie/TV soundtracks. Kieran Scragg and Neil Reed have been playing together since 2006, releasing two studio albums in the process. Much like fellow countrymen Turin Breaks, they create simple, yet lush soundscapes where Kieran's falsetto adds a stillness to the proceedings.
Their profile will get amped when you hear their song "Heart of Stone" on the new and last Twilight soundtrack. You can also hear "Dazed and Confused" on an Episode of Grey's Anatomy. Yup, both the movie and show's soundtracks are put together by Alex Patsavas.
The four-song Dazed and Confused EP will available on the 12th, the same week the Twilight soundtrack is out. In the meantime, take a listen another Iko sound, Kites:
