The Cast of Cheers released their proper debut album over the summer, which got the Brits and Irish fawning over the brand of math-rock and peppy power pop. The Dublin-based foursome previously released a full-length free album recorded on their own via bandcamp. Family, their album recorded by Luke Smith (Foals), was released by School Boy Error/ Cooperative Music and is available here wherever fine downloads are purchased. It's a cagey, spunky and quick series of tunes that might have you bouncing off the walls.
Their touring resume includes opening slots for Two Door Cinema Club and Blood Red Shoes. If they make their way to the U.S, I'll give you the heads up.
