Werewolves of London, indeed. Introducing you today to London outfit, Wolf Alice. Combining the gravel road, world-weariness of Howling Bells and the gritty snarl of early PJ Harvey, the four-piece come stampeding out of the gate with some superior tracks. Lead singer Ellie Rowsell certainly will props for her bad ass vocals while the band grinds out some serious guitar riffs. This is in contrast to the band's orgins, which more on the alt-folk side. When they added a fourth member, they decided to rock out.
The band's official first single is called "Fluffy", but in the meantime checkout this slow burner of a track, "Leaving You".
