Clementine & The Galaxy Plug Into "Robot", Debut EP Coming in April

I did a little meet-and-greet action tonight to support the local electro pop scene. Down in the bowels of Bowery Electric, I caught a few tunes from newbie band Clementine & The Galaxy. The duo consists of singer Julie Hardy and producer/guitarist Mike MacAllister. Their resume is impressive. Hardy has done live backing vocal duties for Ellie Goulding and St. Vincent, while MacAllister composes music for commercials. Together, they make music that amps up your cool factor. You got warped out electronics, pristine vocals, some slamming pop beats and, dare a say, sex appeal. Looking at the band's performance tonight, I said to myself "I will never be that cool on stage. I'm cool in my own special way, but these cats rule the stage."

They debuted their video for the song "Robot". Please check out a behind the scenes below. Their self-titled EP comes out April 9.
